TC “Re-Creating Europe in PEACE” , Stip, 28 November – 04 December 2013
Short summary:
„Re-Creating Europe in PEACE” is a six day training course on peace building.
The activity is based on holistic educational approach where the insight given into peace education is of high importance for acquiring competences needed to make each day of our lives to be without discrimination and violence. The activity will provide a possibility for young people, youth leaders, workers and volunteers to develop their abilities and skills to promote peaceful means of conflict transformations, starting from their inner peace to peace among individuals and groups.
This training course will empower the participants with peace educaiton tools and methods used in conflict management and conflict resolutionwith young people where they will be able to act for peaceful change in Europe.The training course will take place in Stip, Macedonia from 28th November to 4th December 2013.
What are our objectives of the activity?
– To develop specific trainer competences related to work with conflict management;
– To give participants knowledge on peace building;
– To promote the Youth in Action programme as a tool for peace education;
– To develop and consolidate essential skills for trainers in non-formal education.

TC ”SOCIAL CAPITAL GENERATIONS” – 1-9 December 2013 , Kavadarci, Macedonia
Project description:
The social capital generated by volunteering plays a key role in economic regeneration of any society. Where poverty is endemic to an area, poor communities lack friends and neighbours able to help. Thus, voluntary mutual aid or self-help is an important safety net. This model works well within a state because there is a national solidarity in times of adversity and of those in need.
The main purpose and goal of the organizers of this training course is to bring the values that volunteering offers to the youngsters of the partner organizationsand bene involved in this training. Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways and trough volunteering one can make a real difference to people living in the toughest circumstances.
Most people volunteer because they want to give something back and more in return. Volunteering often is a foundation for a long-term, sustainable solution of the challenge the community faces.
Still, nothing compares with the satisfaction of translating generosity into practical, life changing achievements.
International volunteering activities and initiatives require a serious deal of organization, coordination and management skills in order to implement the initiative properly. Thus, this TC will provide the participants with skills and knowledge of the two main aspects – theoretical knowledge needed to promote volunteering and recruit volunteers and organizations skills to be a part of an international team that will put into operation
International volunteering schemes and ideas. This is a follow up project that will be held in Kavadarci with EU, SEE and EEC countires..
